Here is my poem:
Winter!
Sleet, snow, ice and rain
These are the things that cause all the pain
Winter is cold and scary too
You dont know what can happen to you
That slippery ice that is on the ground
Can make you feel scared and down
Having to shovel your driveway and street
Make you more impatient for the heat
This is winter it comes every year
So yo uhave to live with it and overcome your fear!!

Myriad Of Time
by Joy S.
The wind always howling,
The rain always pounding,
And the sun always burning.
The weather,
A never changing story is a play of the world.
Time, flying by like a bird,
Passes us by with unknown mystery.
Our plans useless,
To such a phenomenon,
As the loss of life in the myriad of time.
Held by
Strings
There was a girl who was held by strings a girl
who never had seen the world she was missing out
on anything and everything
she never had fun never been happy just because she was held by strings
tose strings held her back from life as we know it
then one day everything changed a gust of wind blew by and seen with her
verry eye she was gone with the wind some say she wished to hard to
leave
some say she wished to little
but the ones that were there said she just vanished
as if it was a magic trick all because she was held by strings.

"HONEY"
Someday I'll search far and
wide
As you run and try to hide
I will look everywhere
I'll go to places anywhere
To try and find you…
While the sky goes from blue to black
I try to get my honey back
And as I find you I will ask
Why this was such a hard task
To get my honey back

I see
I see that you are gone
Gone with my heart
You left me with nothing
That night when you walked
Walked as if i did not exist
Now I see you cannot be trusted.

Wonderful Night
What a wonderful night
with the stars shinning bright
The fullmoon hanging up high
such a clear sky
I see a shooting star
seems so close but really so far
With a blink of an eye
I make a wish then I cry
They were happy tears
and they wash away all my fears
w/ all the hurt I've had
I know it'll never again be that bad
I look up and this is what I say
I thankyou God....everyday
For sending someone who has been here
even through all the hurt he still fights w/ no fear
I thankyou God for sending me a friend
and I know w/ us there is no end
So thankyou again cause I've fallen in love
w/ an angel you've sent me from above
Amen! And w/ all the stars in the sky
and the moon hanging up high
On my face theres a smile that appears
cause I know he loves me and cares

Life's Own Loss
The shallowness of humanity
shall form a great wall
surrounding the simplicity of love
and turn it into a mine
dark and alone, with nothing but black
whilst people chip at her sides
and destroy the true meaning of how
the greatest, most historical diamond
the world has ever seen
flowed freely on the lips of lovers
and spread through a trail of open hearts
waiting to love,waiting to belong
just waiting until the ends of time.

I Saw You.......
By Madeline Cruz
I saw your eyes twine with mine
Your heart is ever so pure and fine
I saw you in my dreams
Your love keeps on it seems
I saw you watching me cry that night
Your strong arms held me ever so tight, I saw you in the audience
I was able to keep my strength and confidence
I saw you on the silver moon
Your presence there was way to soon
I screamed desperately watching you die
Your last breath told me not to cry
I saw you in my thoughts
For me you had no faults
I saw you next to me
Then I looked behind me...there was nothing to see
I guess you were still there
Together we make a loving pair
A Dream
By Madeline Cruz
Racing a white Unicorn
Healing a dragon that was cut and torn
Kissing a magical prince
I was able to fly ever since
Holding a moon beam in my hand
Mermaids lying on the glittery sand
Flying up into the black sky
Smelling a rose, hearing the wind cry
Hatred shattered by a single tear
A single kiss that eased my fear
Being the princess of the midnight sky
Hear the waves of the ocean sigh
Then when sunrise spilled its light
I took one last look then I flew off into the night
Then I woke up in the sun's rays
All of my memories are in a haze
I found a familiar rose on my chest
It was just a dream I guessed
I went to my balcony over the ocean called gleam
Then a prince I've seen before took my hand and we flew away into the moon's beam

When the going gets rough
When the going starts to get rough
And you feel like you've truly had enough
When your heart witters in your naked palms
And your tears are frozen to the beat of one more
Heart wrenching saddened slow slow song...
Let the dreams of days before fill your soul
Let your most diligent butterflies take you
To lands of fantasy, under a shining moon
That shares the sky with the sun in an utmost
Harmony, never again making you suffer
To the silence of a night...
And let your heart break the gilded chain
Let yourself see farther than the hurt that crowns your mind
Don't satisfy your hunger of crumbles of bread
Nor satisfy your thirst of salted water
But make every step you take a journey to discover
The richest of the treasures that lies in your endeavor.
There's nothing out of reach if you just give yourself a chance
If you lift your heart upon the task your wishing soul demands
For there's no dream to lie in the darkest street at night
No dreamer to imagine something to never be in sight
And what ever the mind summons is in all so possible
That you can put on foot if you just fight for it's control
It's to believe, it's to keep hope, it's to never give away
The determination that push our selves to get up and try again...
Because we are who we are, and are born for true success
Because we are real, alive, and have mysteries to uncover
Because we are strong in our biggest weaknesses and
Believing across our biggest despairs...
Because we have the will to make all dreams possible,
We have no need to worry, no need to frown,
We are all children of this world, and we will
Drink a thousand oceans before we prove
To be won by impossibility.
There's never a day without a sparkle of hope
To cross your life hood journey
So keep your eyes on track
And believe, for there is beauty
And smiles beyond this weather
Of a darkened stormy night...
Dragon
Dream
By
Madeline Cruz
Streaming through the midnight
stars
Down
below the little specks are cars
His
claws scrape the moons light
I
ride on his back on a steady flight
He
is the color of cloud white and sky blue
There
he goes and off he flew
One
day I wished for a dragon to play
Then
one day my wish came to stay
He
flies with gallant and pride
And
when he swims he does a slippery glide
He
has a spell on him to behold
Ready
for me to open and unfold
Then
I remembered when I was little I fell in a river
He
saved me and gave me a pearl of silver
While
I rode on his blue sleek back
He
flies quit fast cause’ he rides with no slack
I
whispered my memory into his ear
He
shattered and I was struck with fear
But
in that dragon body was a boy
My age in fact and his name was
Lehoy
I
broke his spell
And
down we fell
Lehoy
said thank you for saving me
He
has ocean blue eyes I could see
I
gave him a kiss good bye
Then
off he flew into the midnight sky

WHERE IS
HE?
When I thought by my inner mind
Where can I see him where can I find?
Several thoughts came out and lined
A simple one burst out and shined.
In a simple voice it begin to quote
In a river of terror if you want to float
And reach the banks of that river
You need to sail on the religious boat.
I sailed on the boat,
I began to float
I crossed the river,
And I reached the fort.
I entered the fort bold and brave
I moved inside as quickly as a wave,
The evil too was afraid of me
I killed him down and showed his grave.
Then I reached the forest range
Where everything was going crazy and strange
I had to pick either good or bad
It was demons great challenge
In the meanwhile something was wrong
Something was making me brave and strong
Something was helping me throughout my way
Something was in me all along
For a while I sat and thought
Who helps me in my travel throughout?
Who is the one who is in me?
Who controlled my mind and thought?
Soon a figure loomed out of my mind
Who seemed to generous and kind
I felt that I always knew this thing
It entered inside me and joined
Then I felt I got something
Neither a crown nor a blue diamond ring
Again I saw that simple thought
It came near me and began to sing
In a low voice it began to say
He is in your studies and he is in your play
He helped you throughout your ride
The fact is that he is everywhere
He always lives in everything
Even in a poor and even in a king
Those who try and listen to his words
It is sure that they always win
I felt so happy that I started screaming
I opened my eyes , I was just dreaming.

POEM OF LOVE
COOL AS CAN BE WAITING FOR YOU
STARS SHOOT TO MY EYES
WHEN I SEE YOU
WHEN I HEAR YOU
AND TOUCH YOU
ITS LIKE I
AM IN A WORLD OF MY OWN
YOU LOVE ME WITH ALL
YOUR HEART AND I CANT TELL YOU
HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU TOO...

Fairy Tale
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I want my wardrobe to be a fountain
I want my room to be forever clean
I want to climb a mountain
I hope that my nature is never mean
I dream of a beautiful world
I dream of a city that embraces me
I dream of a place that never speaks an ill word
I feel like a Holly Go lightly
I wish for understanding lifelong friends
I wish for someone that makes me fell warm inside
I wish for good times to never end
I pray to live now and not to die
My childish dreams to the heavens I mail
My teenage wish, my fairy tale

Open
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I can't ever tell by a look
But upon second glance I begin to wonder
Was the look just a look?
Nothing more than a simple graze through the air
Yet people do conceal by certain doors
Invisible doors that can't be touched
But they hide unthinkable thoughts
Hopes
Dreams
Desires
And as days pass by, so do smiles and laughter
And looks
For the first time I know my gaze is a closed door
Too frightened to open
It collected a protective shield of dead bolts and dust
Although it did once open
Peering in, he found that his eyes saw nothing
Nothing at all
So I've kept the door closed
For I know that beautiful things lie behind it
But no one has the right key

My love for you is deep
My love for you is deep
Although you think it's not true
And ever since you left
You know I've been missin you
The way you talked
the way you loved
the way you kissed
the way you hugged
So please come back
from wherever you are
right now I'm wishing
on that lucky star
Star of wonder
Star of night
Star of royal
beauty bright
Please let him
back into my world
Let him into the love
of a lonely little girl
Hyperlicious

Sparkly Dream
By Madeline Cruz
I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.
The swift pink sweet honey flower.
The Fairies crush these in a magic powder.
Thee little mermaids ripple the river.
Thee moon and the stars bath them in silver.
See the waves dance to it's own lullaby.
See how the turtles wave it goodbye.
Then pink clouds hover over with grace.
Then they shred to a powdery lace.
I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.

The
Candle’s Still Burn
By Madeline Cruz
I bundle up tight and gaze at the candles
The
candles still burn
I
feel warm and safe and remember long ago
The
Candles still burn
I
eat lakas and open gifts and squeal with laughter
The
Candles still burn
I
sing the prayers and my heart is beating
The
Candles still burn
I
let the candles burn until they’ll die in the night
When
I woke up in the morning
When the birds sing
The Candles still burn

Black Thunder
by madeline cruz
The black sleek coat
The strong muscular legs
The flying mane
The flipping tail
Black thunder
The bullet speed
The thundering hooves
The blackness darting the fields
The whirling winds
Black thunder
The cool black eyes
The sneering laughs
The world in this horses heart
The wonders stored in him

Summer
Color, Color Wherever I look,
The season of Summer comes like never before,
I wish, o’ I wish, at the fireworks glare,
to have a playful year.
The fireworks make a crackling sound,
In the future I’ll be doing this again.

Dream
Shallow faces, hollow eyes
Mostly angels in disguise,
This is my life through my eyes.
Thoughts harsh and wild,
Like a thorny rose of a child.
Both length and distance
These thoughts grow
Where they shall end I will not know
Thoughts are just thoughts
And dreams are still dreams
My thought is be not nobody
To be yourself
And see what it seems.

A Tribute to Aaliyah
Hearts were Broken
Hopes were taken
It was as if the world was crying
As there were memories of her dying
The princess of the land was traveling through the air
She had not a care but to get back to her fans
The family of her heart
People die in movies
But this was real
And was if a family member died
A person whom you are so ever close to
Forever gone and never to be seen again
Many have had this experience of someone dying
It feels like something is missing from your heart
Something in which you are never to get again
This is how I felt when the death of Aaliyah took place
I thought about my life and all the things that I have
Things I should be more grateful for
Things I am used to
That I use for everyday events
If these things were taken away
I wouldn't be able to survive a day
This is what I have to say, think about what you have
And what others had and were taken away
Along with her life
~Think~
