Alex Whitlow
I would like to nominate Alex
Whitlow to your Kids Hall of Fame. Alex is 10 years old and has been
studying Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu at the Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy in Concord,
CA for approximately 2 years.
He started competing in
tournaments for the first time this year starting in February 2001. Since
February, he has taken first place in nearly 30 tournaments. Some his
major accomplishments include:
2001 Northern California Open Champion
2001 USAWKF
Western Regional Champion
2001
International Martial Arts Council World Champion
2001 Golden
State Karate Association Belt Champion
2001 Unified
World Martial Arts Federation Golden
Bear Champion
& Tournament Grand Champion
He also just finished competing
in the 2001 USAWKF National Championships in San Diego where he won 4
first place titles which included National Ranking for his divisions.
I hope you will consider him
for your Hall of Fame as he has demonstrated incredible potential in just
his first year of competition.
