Eric Pratt

Eric has been a student at
Huard’s Ju-jitsu Karate School in Winslow, Maine since the young age
of 8.
He is in the 7th
grade at Benton Elementary School in Benton, Maine. Eric does very well in school and we are all very proud of
him.
He just recently tested for
his third degree brown belt in Japanese Karate and Ju-jitsu on Friday
December 13, 2002. Eric is
now on the path to becoming a black belt at Huard’s Ju-jitsu Karate
Dojo in Winslow, Maine.
He trains two days a week
and also assists his instructor Sensei Mark Huard sometimes teaching the
Little Tigers and Dragons.
Eric is young man that
knows exactly what he wants out of life and goes after it.
He is a very polite and well-mannered young man. We can really
give a lot of credit to his parents for that.
They are some of the nicest people that I have ever met in my 24
years in the martial arts.
Eric is also a member of
the HSK (Huard’s Sport Karate Team)
With only four years of training
behind him, Eric has already accomplished more than a lot of adults in
the martial arts. Eric
competes regionally in tournaments and does quite well.
He will compete in at least 10 tournaments each year or more.
He has won numerous trophies and awards from competitions
throughout the state.
Eric recently started
training with the Bo Staff with Sensei Luke Boucher. Sensei Luke a 1st degree black belt as been a part
of the Huard’s school since the age of 6.
He is now going on 18 and will be graduating from high school
this year. He is one of Northern New England’s top weapons, forms and
fighting competitors. He is
also one of the greatest students (family members) in our organization.
Eric trains with Sensei Luke on a regular basis on competition
forms and weapons.
Eric,
Best of luck with your continued success in the martial arts and in
life! We are all very proud of you.
Eric just recently competed
at the Grey Warrior Martial Arts Championship in Newport Maine and
placed 1st in his competition weapons division.
He has come along way with it.
Eric realizes that his
martial arts training have helped him in other sports and in school.
It’s given him lots of confidence and self esteem.
Eric, we are all very proud
of your accomplishments. Keep
up the great work in the martial arts.
You are a great kid with a wonderful family.
