Guardian Angel

This is a story about a little girl named Becky who never really knew why she belonged, she wasn't good in school, she was afraid of everything and she couldn't do anything right.

Till one day when she was walking in the park she saw another little girl walking the opposite direction. She looked familiar. And Becky noticed that when the little girl walked bye she was crying and she also noticed a grotesque lump on the girls back. She walked by feeling sorry for the little girl but said nothing. The next day she was walking in the park again and she saw the little girl again sitting on a bench crying.

This time she got the nerve to talk to her. She walked over and said "hi, what's wrong" now Becky expected the little girl to ignore her like everyone else but instead she looked up and stared into Becky's eyes, a deep intense stare, like she was looking into her soul. The little girl finally said hi in a small voice still staring.

Becky sat down and asked what was wrong and the little girl told her "she didn't belong in the world she wasn't good at school, she was afraid of everything and she couldn't do anything right". Becky was amazed and said," but everyone belongs I mean look your different." The little girl looked away and said "I know" "no I mean your different from everyone else, your special, do you really want to be like everybody else?" said Becky "no, I guess not" said the little girl. "Well I think your beautiful in your own special way, in fact you remind me of an angel." said Becky.

The little girl smiled, "really?" she asked standing up. "yes a big beautiful angel" said Becky. "Well that's because I am one" the little girl stood up and let out her wings. "what" exclaimed Becky.

"I'm your guardian angel and I was sent to teach you a lesson, we have noticed that you have lost faith in yourself and I was sent to see if I could change that and it looks like I did you told me I was beautiful well look in this mirror this is why I looked familiar we look alike so if you think I'm beautiful then that means you are to." "really" asked Becky. "really" replied the angel.

Then she disappeared and Becky was still in shock, but as she left the park she became more confident about herself and over time made friends, got good grades and started doing fun things but she'd always go to the park on Sundays and sit in that very bench and read while her guardian angel was smiling from up above.

The End
