E! Online Hollywood Celebrity Gossip! She's here to

About the B!tch
The Answer B!tch doesn't have to tell you
anything about herself, but she will anyway. Because she's good to you
like that.
Leslie Gornstein is a Los Angeles-based entertainment
reporter and writer of miscellany whose work has appeared in the Los
Angeles Times, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, Utne Reader and
so on and such.
As the Answer B!tch, E! Online's resident question-and-answer columnist,
Gornstein has built a fan base of, like, millions of rabid B!tchlettes,
many of whom follow her every syllable during her weekly podcast and
satellite radio show.
What, that's not enough? The Dibbuk, a horror film based on a feature
Gornstein wrote last year, is being produced by Sam Raimi's Ghost House
Productions.
What else. Oh, yeah,
right. She knows everything.

Nate Diaz (10-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Clay...An official
announcement of the bout has yet to come from the organization. Guida was
unwilling to confirm the matchup when contacted by MMAjunkie.com

said. "But I am looking forward to fighting."
The bout was originally rumored for the Dec. 13 "The Ultimate Fighter

to acknowledge -- suffered by Guida put the matchup on hold until

MMA

Gary Post Tribune, IN
"A lot of kids from Munster are into MMA," Surma said. "I
always tell them wrestling is so important (for mixed martial arts
success)....
"You've got to mentally prepare yourself to be tough,
to take shots," said Surma, who is 1-0 in MMA and 1-0 in muay thai
competition. "You go into a wrestling match (thinking), 'This guy is
not going to punch me. I can go full at them.' " Surma's had plenty
of success on the mat as well as in the ring. He was 34-10 as a sophomore
for the Mustangs, bowing out of the postseason at the semistate in a
stacked bracket that included the eventual 1-2 finishers in the state at
135 pounds: champ Sean McMurray of Portage and runner-up Eric Galka of
Hobart...

David
Samuels interviews Ultimate Fighting Champion BJ Penn
Bj Penn

Atlantic Online -
Hawaiian native Jay Dee “BJ” Penn is one of the
most talented fighters in the UFC. In 2000, he became the first
non-Brazilian to win a gold medal at the World Jiujitsu Championship
in Brazil. Four years later, he displayed his mastery of mixed martial
arts by jumping a weight class to defeat the reigning UFC welterweight
champion, Matt Hughes. On January 31, 2009, he will try to
repeat his feat of martial arts skill by taking on the current UFC
welterweight champion, George St. Pierre, who is regularly
ranked along with Penn as one of the top five mixed martial arts fighters
in the world.
Here is a partial transcript of David Samuels’ ringside
conversation with Penn before the Rampage Jackson-Forrest Griffin fight

MMA
relishes maritime tourney
Bangor Daily News, ME -
“Kids love it when they hear they’re going to California and that we
have a trip planned for North Carolina next year.” The two-day,
eight-game tourney took...
“It all started three years ago and we hosted the first
one two years ago,” said MMA women’s basketball coach Craig Dagan.
“It involves California Maritime, SUNY Maritime in New York and us plus
another team to fill in the four-team field. This year, Coast Guard got
involved and it was California’s turn to host.” Even with soaring
energy costs in late summer and fall making the trip to San Francisco more
and more expensive, cancellation was never really an option...
