Jake Strickland
Jake Strickland of Columbia, GA., took the overall Boys 12-13 year old Musical Weapons Division at the Battle of Atlanta. This kid has become a true sport karate champion.
"The martial arts are such a big part of my
life," Jake said.
Here is another young super star martial
artist that deserves a lot of recognition. His name is Jake Strickland.
Jake Strickland is 12 years old and lives in Columbus, GA. He started training in the martial arts at age 7 and has been active ever since. Jake new the first week of his training that karate was the sport for him. He trained for about eight months before he attended his first local tournament.

Jake took a look at the competition
and was really impressed with some of the things the competitors were performing. They had discipline, ability, confidence, sportsmanship and showmanship. When they entered the ring everyone
paid attention.
Jake had left that day without a trophy but a new dream began, one that included becoming the best martial artist that he could be.
Jake usually leaves school at around 3:00 p.m. and gets an early dinner and heads straight to the karate school. He spends at least 3 hours on intense training and also helps out with the little dragons classes.
Jake is an amazing young man that has been training in the martial arts for quite some time now.
He competes on the NASKA Circuit and has been rated #1 in many of his divisions since he started. He has also been featured in some of martial arts most
prestigious nighttime martial arts finals all over the world and hopes to compete as long as he is able. His parents are very supportive because of his very positive
attitude.
