Johnny Liscar

Over the past few years in Sports Karate he has consistently been rated among the top competitors in the world. He competes most regularly in the NASKA and IKC Tournaments and has been a member of the prestigious KICK Team for over 5 years. His performance videos and pictures are regularly seen on the well known Maslinc.com website as well as Karateangels.com and others. 

In 2003, he was ranked #2 in the World in the NASKA 10-11 Boys Black Belt Traditional Weapons Division and #3 in several other divisions behind Richard Bichara, Jake Strickland and Rudy Reynon. 

He also was NASKA nationally rated in the top 10 in forms and weapons in the youth form 13 & under musical, the youth form 12-13 and the youth weapons 13 & under. In the IKC Black Belt Boys 10-11 divisions he was rated #1 in both weapons and forms. 

So far this year Johnny has been challenged by a nagging muscle pull but has still managed to earn respectable rankings in the Compete Nationals, the World Series of Martial Arts (winning 12-13 BBB Traditional Weapons and Traditional Weapons Grands) and Ocean State Grand Nationals. Of course in each of the before mentioned tournaments he has been a participant on the KICK Team Demo Team which has won 1st, 2nd and 1st respectively. 

Johnny is a well rounded person who loves to sing, skateboard and excels in advanced tumbling. He also excels in school where he attends at Double Churches Middle School in Columbus, GA, he is involved in the Gifted Academic program and also a part of the 7th Grade Chorus and was selected to participate in the Georgia All-State Middle School Honors Chorus which recently performed at the Savannah Civic Center Auditorium. 

Johnny is also a loving brother to his newly arrived sister Janna Marie. He has been involved in Martial Arts since the age of 6 and has loved every minute of his instruction under the watchful eye of the world renowned Master Young S. Won of Won's Martial Arts, founder and Master Instructor of the KICK Team.
