'Ello, 'ello, 'ello, what have we got here?
Up and doing!
It is wise to apply the oil of refined politeness to the mechanism of
friendship.
What I am defending is the real rights of women. A woman should have the right
to be in the home as a wife and mother.
Nothing ever becomes real till
it is experienced -- even a proverb is no proverb to you till your life has
illustrated it.
To do nothing at all is the most difficult thing in the world, the most
difficult and the most intellectual.
No literature is complete until the language it was written in is dead.
Men's faults to themselves seldom appear.
Nothing is so contagious as enthusiasm.
Every fool finds a greater one to admire them.
The enjoyments of this life are not equal to its evils. The proper study of
mankind is woman.
Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly.
He never chooses an opinion, he just wears whatever happens to be in style.
All achievements, all earned riches, have their beginning in an idea.
Expect the best, plan for the
worst, and prepare to be surprised.
Stand still... and refuse to retreat. Look at it as God looks at it and draw
upon His power to hold up under the blast.
We have no more right to
consume happiness without producing it than to consume wealth without producing
it.
Conscience is the mirror of our souls, which represents the errors of our lives
in their full shape.
Desire is the most important factor in the success of any athlete.
Labor, if it were not necessary for existence, would be indispensable for the
happiness of man.
A false enchantment can all
too easily last a lifetime.
The history of a people is found in its songs.
A novel that does not uncover a hitherto unknown segment of existence is
immoral. Knowledge is the novel's only morality.
Baseball is like church. Many
attend few understand.
Words are the most powerful drugs used by mankind.
Nothing marks the character of a young man more than failure.

the
march
As I walk on this road,
the one I see in my dreams...
the road that I have chosen, to live with me...
they told me its impossible to walk it.
And many people turned around and came back crying fearfull.
its dark, its cold, the wind is strong.
And rain keeps falling down.
Elements that I will ignore strongly
I will walk it, even if my legs give up.
Two parts of my instrument I still have, so
I will crawl with my bear hands if I have to.
As I fall on my knees,
hearing the sound of solitude
and see myself in a puddle
tired, broken
refusing to give up . I'll start my journey again
in the land of the heartless, I will not accept nor merci nor weakness.
you can feel the wind of jealousy, the rain of gossips.
The breath of demons around my neck never losing the sight of me.
I'm cold, I need confort, support.
But one day the sun will shine
ass it so, I will recon the end of my road.
And finaly live my dream.
ass I smile and my feelings
of happiness and joy keeps rising
the more the jungel I came from keeps fading away. Due to the
light, the warmth, the wind and rain of my emotions.
And I'll be proud of my march.

Subject: hi This is my poem:
How I
feel.
Do you know how I feel? Do you
care how I feel? I feel rage inside.
I just want to go outside
and scream until I cant scream no more.
I feel unwanted. I just want
to run away. I feel left out, I'm the middle child.
The oldest gets to do any
thing she wants and
the little one gets more love.
I feel hated. No one really
wants me. How I. Really feel is that I was a mistake, a
really big mistake. That is how I feel. Now do you care how I feel?

imagine...
I wish I could live in wonderland
where dreams become reality
and reality becomes a dream.
where sad people suddenly learn how to smile
where poor people change into wealthy.
the only place where pain has no power.
imagine guns turn into candy
terrorists, dressed like Santa's
and drop gifts instead of plains
gangs would stop the killing and selling drugs
instead they would play hide and seek...
so that a gang member fears of getting caught in the game
and not getting killed
where racism is just a name of a street and not a war
between races and cultures.
where people understand that we are different on the outside,
but we're the same on the inside.
we're all made of flesh and blood.
we all breath the same air
we would only cry for our emotions in achieving
a dream... a goal... and not 4 grief!
and a place where there exists a second chance!
imagine my words turn into life.
But no matter how hard I try
I can not see it in front of me...
behind me... or above me.
but inside me?... I Can.

beautiful.
who are the ones that should carry that word?
the world doesn't
understand who we are, or what we feel.
they can never understand, they will never learn,
that they could learn from us, we the stars, the roses.
we could teach how to
love in a way the rest of the world,
the heartless, could never love. we can offer so much (warmth)
trust, loyalty.
the heartless feed
them self with these words, with these feelings.
and make them self powerful.
who are the ones that should carry that word?
the beautiful people? people that become selfish
and move in a world apart.
the less pretty ones become like dirt, in which they like to spit in.
who are the ones that should carry that word?
the legion of the depth? hearts made of fire and ice?
or the ones that are made of holy blood.
blood made of tears of the saints. and flowing in us
because god meant it to be.
who are the ones that should carry that title?
we are!
we the stars, the roses, the water, the wind, the birds
all the beautiful things in the world, that made the world.
we are!
in a way we have a pride.
we are the ones that created it. we carry that name.
4 the rest of our lives.

my
death.
another disillusioned day has past
how long will this last?
I think soon, the
devil has a new task
he will control me and make me blast
I'll shoot myself with my gun
with my face towards the sun
this voice inside
telling me I'll never have a son
and the only thing I wanna do is run
run away from the pain
but its bound with me like I chain
my life is similar like the rain
so many tears that I
shed
I wanna sleep and never get of my bed
cuz I don't want to feel sad
oh I wished someone could make me glad
but no there is just more pain instead
my dreams vanishing in thin air
I'm slipping away and I don't care
oh god this isn't
faire
my eyes closing feeling the wind in my hair
my heart deserves better
I'll never get what I deserve
cuz god you cant change what you wrote in that letter.
my last image in my head
is when I saw her and turned red
I will always love
her
now I'm falling on the floor
hoping the lord guides me to heavens door
I hope you wont keep me lying on the floor
here I come lord your angel, don't close the door!

Don't
be afraid
A river of sadness
can flow through your heart
and ocean of pain
Is where it all starts
Don't be afraid
It will be gone soon
A kiss from my lips
Just look at the moon
Don't back away
when I hold out my arms
Its just a simple embrace
I will wait again, another day
You stare, I see
with fearful eyes
Are you scared me?
I listen to your lonely sighs
You lay on the floor,
crying soft tears
I love you more and more
What can I do to ease your fears?
You look at me
just...once more
and hold me with your arms
and mended my heart that tore

HEART
BREAK
Heart Break is like an ocean,
And I’m drowning in it.
You said you would never let me sink,
But know the bottom is what I hit.
So now you soak in remorse,
I hope you regret.
Still can’t believe what you did,
I will never forget.
It’s your own fault,
You say it can’t be.
Now I know the sayings true,
There are other fish in the sea.
By: Brittni Heiser
Before
the Rain Falls
I to hold you before the rain falls
Your lips to touch mine
To hear your breathing against my chest
Let our hearts twine
I feel the raindrops on my head
It trickles down your cheek
Parallel to my own tears
It’s your love I seek
Is it too late now?
I hear a voice call for you through the rain
You turn to me and say goodbye
Will we meet again?
That handsome prince sits before your father's throne
All I have is a single rose
He hands to you a huge bouquet
My heart began to froze
You watch your father and cry silent tears
They fall on the bouquet and
The petals
You have no choice, I understand
Princesses don't marry peasants who sell pots and kettles
It’s your wedding day
Your so lovely in that silk dress
Then I turn away in sadness
My clothes are nothing but a mess
I watch from afar
You don't seem happy at all
The prince smiles and takes your hand
The rightful man to you, for he is handsome and tall
Just once more I wished
I dreamed and hoped for
to hold you before the rain falls
But its shattered now, there will be no more
Your eyes follow me as I walk away
Dark clouds are rumbling
You run away from the alter
In the mud, falling and stumbling
I'm shocked when you run up to me
Mud smeared on your gown
You kiss me twice and I hold you
Before the rainfalls...I'll never wear a frown...

Ice
Tears
By Madeline Cruz
You stand alone
Silver Warrior
Guarding your fate
Your icy hands
Longing for warm flesh
You aren't human
Though you are not a god
Who are you?
Her soft voice tempts you
Yet you stand-alone
In your icy grave
You cry your tears
Of loneliness and broken heart
You plead to the wind
Your pale hair
Shimmers through the frost
She begs you to come
Yet you stand-alone
In your icy heart
So why do you suffer ice prince?
Why won't you answer her plea?
Are you afraid that icy heart,
May shatter
If she is just an illusion?
My beautiful warrior
Please don't stand alone
Don't brush your wet strands
From your forehead
And cry for her love
Don't shed any more ice tears.

Sea
Spirit
By Madeline Cruz
I stand alone
On the rocky beach
Knowing you will come
It hurts me to see you
Because you'll leave when the suns up
But I still come
I see your body leap onto the sand. Your fish tail gleaming in the moonlight
Your human half
More handsome than any man
You wrap your tail around me
And cradle me in your arms
His webbed fingers resting on my pale hands.
We sit on the rocks and
Whisper our dreams and point out the stars.
I run my fingers through you sea green hair
Never wanting his arms to let go of me.
He looks at the sky and sees a speck of light. With one last kiss and quick hug
You slide under the waves.
You appear again, my heart is about to break.
I wish I could slide under the waves beside him.
Yet I stand watching.
I don't belong in his world.
He spills a saltwater tear
Than leaps under the waves.
I stand on the beach.
Waiting for dark to come.
And once again he'll come...
And wrap his arms around me.

The wind always howling,
The rain always pounding,
And the sun always burning.
The weather,
A never changing story is a play of the world.
Time, flying by like a bird,
Passes us by with unknown mystery.
Our plans useless,
To such a phenomenon,
As the loss of life in the myriad of time.
Wind passes her
with mystery,
Chilling whispers upon midnight air.
Moonlight deep upon the Earth,
Unknown the existence of man.
There she sat,
Wondering with rapture the anxiety of love.
Light being her friend,
Darkness her enemy,
But can she stutter upon the dark of side or the light of nature?
Is her possession real,
Or another fantasy of heart?

Winter!
Sleet, snow, ice and rain
These are the things that cause all the pain
Winter is cold and scary too
You dont know what can happen to you
That slippery ice that is on the ground
Can make you feel scared and down
Having to shovel your driveway and street
Make you more impatient for the heat
This is winter it comes every year
So yo uhave to live with it and overcome your fear!!

There was a girl who was held by strings a girl
who never had seen the world she was missing out
on anything and everything
she never had fun never been happy just because she was held by strings
tose strings held her back from life as we know it
then one day everything changed a gust of wind blew by and seen with her
verry eye she was gone with the wind some say she wished to hard to
leave
some say she wished to little
but the ones that were there said she just vanished
as if it was a magic trick all because she was held by strings.

Wonderful Night
What a wonderful night
with the stars shinning bright
The fullmoon hanging up high
such a clear sky
I see a shooting star
seems so close but really so far
With a blink of an eye
I make a wish then I cry
They were happy tears
and they wash away all my fears
w/ all the hurt I've had
I know it'll never again be that bad
I look up and this is what I say
I thankyou God....everyday
For sending someone who has been here
even through all the hurt he still fights w/ no fear
I thankyou God for sending me a friend
and I know w/ us there is no end
So thankyou again cause I've fallen in love
w/ an angel you've sent me from above
Amen! And w/ all the stars in the sky
and the moon hanging up high
On my face theres a smile that appears
cause I know he loves me and cares

Life's Own Loss
The shallowness of humanity
shall form a great wall
surrounding the simplicity of love
and turn it into a mine
dark and alone, with nothing but black
whilst people chip at her sides
and destroy the true meaning of how
the greatest, most historical diamond
the world has ever seen
flowed freely on the lips of lovers
and spread through a trail of open hearts
waiting to love,waiting to belong
just waiting until the ends of time.

I Saw You.......
By Madeline Cruz
I saw your eyes twine with mine
Your heart is ever so pure and fine
I saw you in my dreams
Your love keeps on it seems
I saw you watching me cry that night
Your strong arms held me ever so tight, I saw you in the audience
I was able to keep my strength and confidence
I saw you on the silver moon
Your presence there was way to soon
I screamed desperately watching you die
Your last breath told me not to cry
I saw you in my thoughts
For me you had no faults
I saw you next to me
Then I looked behind me...there was nothing to see
I guess you were still there
Together we make a loving pair
A Dream
By Madeline Cruz
Racing a white Unicorn
Healing a dragon that was cut and torn
Kissing a magical prince
I was able to fly ever since
Holding a moon beam in my hand
Mermaids lying on the glittery sand
Flying up into the black sky
Smelling a rose, hearing the wind cry
Hatred shattered by a single tear
A single kiss that eased my fear
Being the princess of the midnight sky
Hear the waves of the ocean sigh
Then when sunrise spilled its light
I took one last look then I flew off into the night
Then I woke up in the sun's rays
All of my memories are in a haze
I found a familiar rose on my chest
It was just a dream I guessed
I went to my balcony over the ocean called gleam
Then a prince I've seen before took my hand and we flew away into the moon's beam

When the going gets rough
When the going starts to get rough
And you feel like you've truly had enough
When your heart witters in your naked palms
And your tears are frozen to the beat of one more
Heart wrenching saddened slow slow song...
Let the dreams of days before fill your soul
Let your most diligent butterflies take you
To lands of fantasy, under a shining moon
That shares the sky with the sun in an utmost
Harmony, never again making you suffer
To the silence of a night...
And let your heart break the gilded chain
Let yourself see farther than the hurt that crowns your mind
Don't satisfy your hunger of crumbles of bread
Nor satisfy your thirst of salted water
But make every step you take a journey to discover
The richest of the treasures that lies in your endeavor.
There's nothing out of reach if you just give yourself a chance
If you lift your heart upon the task your wishing soul demands
For there's no dream to lie in the darkest street at night
No dreamer to imagine something to never be in sight
And what ever the mind summons is in all so possible
That you can put on foot if you just fight for it's control
It's to believe, it's to keep hope, it's to never give away
The determination that push our selves to get up and try again...
Because we are who we are, and are born for true success
Because we are real, alive, and have mysteries to uncover
Because we are strong in our biggest weaknesses and
Believing across our biggest despairs...
Because we have the will to make all dreams possible,
We have no need to worry, no need to frown,
We are all children of this world, and we will
Drink a thousand oceans before we prove
To be won by impossibility.
There's never a day without a sparkle of hope
To cross your life hood journey
So keep your eyes on track
And believe, for there is beauty
And smiles beyond this weather
Of a darkened stormy night...

Down

His
claws scrape the moons light
I
ride on his back on a steady flight
He
is the color of cloud white and sky blue
There
he goes and off he flew
One
day I wished for a dragon to play
Then
one day my wish came to stay
He
flies with gallant and pride
And
when he swims he does a slippery glide
He
has a spell on him to behold
Ready
for me to open and unfold
Then
I remembered when I was little I fell in a river
He
saved me and gave me a pearl of silver
While
I rode on his blue sleek back
He
flies quit fast cause’ he rides with no slack
I
whispered my memory into his ear
He
shattered and I was struck with fear
But
in that dragon body was a boy
My age in fact and his name was
Lehoy
I
broke his spell
And
down we fell
Lehoy
said thank you for saving me
He
has ocean blue eyes I could see
I
gave him a kiss good bye
Then
off he flew into the midnight sky

WHERE IS
HE?
When I thought by my inner mind
Where can I see him where can I find?
Several thoughts came out and lined
A simple one burst out and shined.
In a simple voice it begin to quote
In a river of terror if you want to float
And reach the banks of that river
You need to sail on the religious boat.
I sailed on the boat,
I began to float
I crossed the river,
And I reached the fort.
I entered the fort bold and brave
I moved inside as quickly as a wave,
The evil too was afraid of me
I killed him down and showed his grave.
Then I reached the forest range
Where everything was going crazy and strange
I had to pick either good or bad
It was demons great challenge
In the meanwhile something was wrong
Something was making me brave and strong
Something was helping me throughout my way
Something was in me all along
For a while I sat and thought
Who helps me in my travel throughout?
Who is the one who is in me?
Who controlled my mind and thought?
Soon a figure loomed out of my mind
Who seemed to generous and kind
I felt that I always knew this thing
It entered inside me and joined
Then I felt I got something
Neither a crown nor a blue diamond ring
Again I saw that simple thought
It came near me and began to sing
In a low voice it began to say
He is in your studies and he is in your play
He helped you throughout your ride
The fact is that he is everywhere
He always lives in everything
Even in a poor and even in a king
Those who try and listen to his words
It is sure that they always win
I felt so happy that I started screaming
I opened my eyes , I was just dreaming.

Fairy Tale
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I want my wardrobe to be a fountain
I want my room to be forever clean
I want to climb a mountain
I hope that my nature is never mean
I dream of a beautiful world
I dream of a city that embraces me
I dream of a place that never speaks an ill word
I feel like a Holly Go lightly
I wish for understanding lifelong friends
I wish for someone that makes me fell warm inside
I wish for good times to never end
I pray to live now and not to die
My childish dreams to the heavens I mail

Open
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I can't ever tell by a look
But upon second glance I begin to wonder
Was the look just a look?
Nothing more than a simple graze through the air
Yet people do conceal by certain doors
Invisible doors that can't be touched
But they hide unthinkable thoughts
Hopes
Dreams
Desires
And as days pass by, so do smiles and laughter
And looks
For the first time I know my gaze is a closed door
Too frightened to open
It collected a protective shield of dead bolts and dust
Although it did once open
Peering in, he found that his eyes saw nothing
Nothing at all
So I've kept the door closed
For I know that beautiful things lie behind it
But no one has the right key

Sparkly Dream
By Madeline Cruz
I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.
The swift pink sweet honey flower.
The Fairies crush these in a magic powder.
Thee little mermaids ripple the river.
Thee moon and the stars bath them in silver.
See the waves dance to it's own lullaby.
See how the turtles wave it goodbye.
Then pink clouds hover over with grace.
Then they shred to a powdery lace.
I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.

Open
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I can't ever tell by a look
But upon second glance I begin to wonder
Was the look just a look?
Nothing more than a simple graze through the air
Yet people do conceal by certain doors
Invisible doors that can't be touched
But they hide unthinkable thoughts
Hopes
Dreams
Desires
And as days pass by, so do smiles and laughter
And looks
For the first time I know my gaze is a closed door
Too frightened to open
It collected a protective shield of dead bolts and dust
Although it did once open
Peering in, he found that his eyes saw nothing
Nothing at all
So I've kept the door closed
For I know that beautiful things lie behind it
But no one has the right key

Fairy Tale
By Erin Eloise Tulberg (age 16)
I want my wardrobe to be a fountain
I want my room to be forever clean
I want to climb a mountain
I hope that my nature is never mean
I dream of a beautiful world
I dream of a city that embraces me
I dream of a place that never speaks an ill word
I feel like a Holly Go lightly
I wish for understanding lifelong friends
I wish for someone that makes me fell warm inside
I wish for good times to never end
I pray to live now and not to die
My childish dreams to the heavens I mail
My teenage wish, my fairy tale

The
Candle’s Still Burn
By Madeline Cruz
I bundle up tight and gaze at the candles
The
candles still burn
I
feel warm and safe and remember long ago
The
Candles still burn
I
eat lakas and open gifts and squeal with laughter
The
Candles still burn
I
sing the prayers and my heart is beating
The
Candles still burn
I
let the candles burn until they’ll die in the night
When
I woke up in the morning
When the birds sing
The Candles still burn

Dream

I
watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I
listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.
The
swift pink sweet honey flower.
The
Fairies crush these in a magic powder.
Thee
little mermaids ripple the river.
Thee
moon and the stars bath them in silver.
See
the waves dance to it’s own lullaby.
See
how the turtles wave it goodbye.
Then
pink clouds hover over with grace.
Then
they shred to a powdery lace.

watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I

Color, Color Wherever I look,
The season of Summer comes like never before,
I wish, o’ I wish, at the fireworks glare,
to have a playful year.
The fireworks make a crackling sound,
In the future I’ll be doing this again.

Shallow faces, hollow eyes
Mostly angels in disguise,
This is my life through my eyes.
Thoughts harsh and wild,
Like a thorny rose of a child.
Both length and distance
These thoughts grow
Where they shall end I will not know
Thoughts are just thoughts
And dreams are still dreams
My thought is be not nobody
To be yourself
And see what it seems.

A Tribute to Aaliyah
Hearts were Broken
Hopes were taken
It was as if the world was crying
As there were memories of her dying
The princess of the land was traveling through the air
She had not a care but to get back to her fans
The family of her heart
People die in movies
But this was real
And was if a family member died
A person whom you are so ever close to
Forever gone and never to be seen again
Many have had this experience of someone dying
It feels like something is missing from your heart
Something in which you are never to get again
This is how I felt when the death of Aaliyah took place
I thought about my life and all the things that I have
Things I should be more grateful for
Things I am used to
That I use for everyday events
If these things were taken away
I wouldn't be able to survive a day
This is what I have to say, think about what you have
And what others had and were taken away
Along with her life

Dreams Come True
One night while I was deep in thought your
flaming soul inside I sought you wisped
me off my feet like an angel in the sky.
When I was in need you came to my rescue.
You chased the shadows away from beneath my
soul. You have failed to find me many times
even when you think you see me alas its
not. Finaly one day you find me deep within
the reaches of your heart and once again
we are renited and joiened together as one.

That was not there...
You have given laughter,
That I can share...
You have given me feelings,

FIREWORKS
by Killian Koenig
With glimmer, gilt, and grace they fly
High High into the sky
You look up in awe
At what you just saw
Even though they seem to die
For all the trouble they take to make
They go out in an awful quick take
But as you can see
They matter to me
Or this poem would be totally fake.

Don't Cry Little Angel
by Ashley age 11
Don't cry little angel,
Your heart is in good hands.
You'll go the distance,
You'll travel distant lands.
Don't worry little angel,
Your tears will soon disappear.
You'll kill the pain and stand
With out fear.
Don't run little angel,
I won't let you down.
With my caress, and all the faith,
You'll forget how to frown.
Keep standing little angel,
Because I won't let you fall.
Believe it, I was there with
Just one call.
Don't hide little angel,
There's no need to conceal.
Don't fear what your thinking,
Don't fear what you feel.
Just sing little angel,
Let heaven hear the voice it made.
Your melody is strong,
Your harmony won't fade.
You can laugh little angel,
You just don't forget.
Laughing heals the soul,
No one's proven me wrong yet.
So smile little angel,
Release your beauty from within.
Destroy the past,
Let the future begin.
So don't cry little angel,
Because you can already see.
You can always and forever,
Forever count on me.

There You Go Trapped In My Rainbow
There You Go
Trapped In My Rainbow
There you go
on your own
out of my sight
not knowing
where you are,
but you knew
all along
you knew you
would be trapped in my rainbow
if you go
on your own you will know you'll be missed
there you go
trapped inside
not only my rainbow
but my heart
so remember
that if you go
i will always be there
especially if you go you'll be trapped inside
my rainbow.
So listen to these words
and figure,
what I'm trying to say,
and don't go or you know when you
try to look for home
all you'll
find is my rainbow and know
you will soon be trapped in it

"Big Hands Girl"
"There was a girl that had big hands, that couldn't even eat,
And always with her feet she had to pet her little dog.
Her hands were so big she dropped her glass of milk and then her cup of tea.
Her sandwich and her chips, and maybe even ME!
She couldn't even handstand, it was very hard.
She couldn't even sleep, it was also very hard."

Halloween Limerick
There once was a witch named Sue,
One day she was feeling blue,
Tried to make a potion,
But then got the notion,
That she'd lost all her magic will.
She went to get her broom,
And decided to go for a zoom,
But she'd lost all her power,
Within the hour,
So her broom was sadly doomed.
She went to the doctor for help,
When he couldn't she started to yelp,
That had made her sad,
But she soon got mad,
So she turned him into ugly green kelp.
She had her powers back,
But decided to hit the sack,
When she woke the next day,
There would be time to play,
But for now she was on the right track.

This is a poem I wrote earlier this year. I hope you enjoy it.
FALLING
I am falling.
Down a deep, dark hole. It’s so cold.
Falling.
Dark.
So dark.
Someone is laughing.
I look around.
I can’t see a thing.
I’m not sure I’m even moving.
All I can feel
Is the ground rushing from underneath
Maybe that’s not even real.
All I know
Is that I can’t control it.
I’ve lost already.
It’s hopeless.
So hopeless.
Falling.
Where is that laughing coming from?
It’s all a blur.
Images flash before me.
People I used to know.
The life I used to live.
But it’s all gone now.
There is no one, out there.
Now all I have
Is this falling sensation.
Is this my punishment?
What did I do wrong?
Why is this happening?
It’s pointless to ask.
No one can answer.
I cry out desperately.
Of course, there is no answer.
No one is here.
But if that is true…
Why do I still hear that laughter, resounding everywhere?
I gasp.
I know who’s laughing now.
I realized it.
So obvious.
It’s me.

As everyone cries,
Over the day,
Where many did die,
Because of their race.
We are American,
And we are proud.
We're all Americans,
And we scream it aloud!
So don't be upset,
Just cause many did die,
Because
it will all,
Turn out to be no lie,
THAT WE AMERICANS,
We are proud of our race,
So why don't you put on,
a huge happy face!!!!!!!

The tears drift down our

thinking back of September

we all have our special
emotions,
thinking back of that day,
when many innocent people
died,
there are many different
Americans,
of many different
cultures,
who are suffering today,
just from that one day,
we all hope that some day,
their will be peace for
everyone,
no matter what color,
or what religion,
no more wars,
and everyone will learn to
respect one another,

I Hold in My Hand
I hold in my hand a key,
A key for you and a key for me.
A key that will open the door,
The door to peace forevermore.
The door will lead to the future.
I hold in my hand the future,
The future of every land.
And if we work together,
We will be walking hand in hand.

The Castle Of Hope
The castle of hope
stands on a slope
high above the clouds,
as it towers up to heaven,
up up up.
When you’re down without a sound
it sprinkles happy thoughts by the pound.
When the twin towers fell
and all the loved ones as well
it sprinkled feelings of love and hope
to thy suffering for their love,
but God sent a dove,
to keep strength in your hearts.
So when you’re down without a sound,
you know the castle of hope is coming.

Here is a poem I would like to enter. It is my opinion on what life is
through a wolf's eyes. If it is too deep, then tell me and I will enter
my other poem The Black Wasteland which tells of our trash ending the world.
"Our Life"
I am wolf.
You heard my name.
A chill down your spine.
Who can you blame?
Us.
And so you hunt us.
One by one.
Unneeded killing.
Just for fun.
And so our children starve,
and die in fear.
This is our life.
Full of fear.
Who can we blame.
You, only, you
by
-Katie McGinnis
(Here's my other poem The Black Wasteland which
tells of our trash ending the world)
The
Black Wasteland
The Tree of The Willow
bark stands tall,
The birds perch upon it,
the fox suspiciously
eyes it.
the wolf only stares.
The woodpecker drills it
making laps in time.
and the branches stretch
to the sky.
In one hundred years the
birds have died.
As have the fox,
woodpecker and wolf.
The world was blank, no
further use to mankind.
And as the last bit of
smoke slipped out of the old
broken down factory, the
world was black, a black wasteland....

Angels
Many
believe they are beings you cannot see
But I see them as being you and me
They are there for you when you are at your lowest
Doing their best to help, love, and console
So next time, something is troubling you
Look at the person who is helping you
and there you will find an Angel.

Somebody's Pet
Snake?
I found a little pet snake,
Just a crawlin' in the street,
I snagged it with a rake,
And took it home to eat.
I put it in a pan,
And cooked it in some oil,
Then I took it out.
And it began to boil.
I took a little bite of it,
But it just didn't taste right,
Maybe cause in cookin'
I forgot to add the spice.
First I moaned and then I groaned.
And then I turned all green,
But when I turned to purple,
That's a sight you should have seen!
So if you see a snake,
Just a crawlin' in the street,
Leave it along, don't take it home,
For they're no good to eat!

School
Food
by Chrissy
Get
a bit of rubber and some brain of eel
get
some old apple stems there's
the school lunch meal
If you want to have a feast in your own school schoolyard
then
go into the school kitchen and
get the big bucket of lard
the
lard that they use day and night to
feed us breakfast and lunch
(They
keep the good food out of sight!) and
after we leave the school
they
go munch, munch, munch!
I
bet they get a catalog with
yucky food galore
then
they buy some of it then
they buy some more
and
once the kids have a bit they
hit on the score
they
barf alot as they grit and
scream down to the score
So don't learn it the hard way like
those kids did
and
spit as much as you may eat
good food
while
you're a kid!

CONQUERING
FEAR
Inspired
by Eleanor Roosevelt’s words:
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence
by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
You must do the thing which you think
you cannot do.”
Fear stopped
me from walking in the door
What if
they laugh?
What if
I stumble?
What if
I fail?
Suddenly
the glass door swung wide
a child
of five beckoned me inside
I followed
the pint-size brown belt indoors
And wondered
what horrors
I would
meet
clad only
in a white uniform with bare feet
But Eleanor
Roosevelt’s words rang in my head
I must
face the things I dread
One year
later,
Thanks
to my wonderful instructors for what I’ve learned
A gold
belt I’ve earned
I’m glad
I stayed
the very
first day
