Tegan Issartel

I started taking Karate in 1995 at the age of 5 in south of France with my 4^th DAN SHOTOKAN KARATE Instructor Patrick Delarue. 

After learning traditional Shotokan karate for about 5 years, I started training and competing in open form karate as well, I participated in many demos all over the country and I competed for the first time in open form in Paris in 2001. 

I kept on training and competing in traditional and open form until the end of the year 2002. On the first of January 2003, I moved to the United States where I first took Shotokan Karate for a few months with Sensei Jimmy Wong.

In May 2003, I Finally joined the Team Sensei at the brand new dojo of Sensei Arturo ESPINA Kyoshi where I have the great opportunity to train and compete with a team of  World champions.
