Billy Leger from MA and a member of Team Straight
Up recently took his first junior black belt weapons grand championship at the
Northeast Martial Arts Challenge in Providence RI.
On Sunday Feb 13, 2005, The North Providence
Rhode Island High School was the site for some outstanding
Sport Karate Competition.
The 11th Annual Northeast Martial Arts
Challenge sure did start off the year with a bang!
This is the first KRANE Rated event of the year and
you can always expect a great turnout for this event.

Brandon was born in Columbus, Georgia in 1992. He is a Black Belt and started in the Martial Arts in 2000. That is the same year he started in competition in weapons, forms and point sparring. Brandon trains at Won's Martial Arts under Mr. Won, Jon Boyd, Matthew Jennings and Brandon Grissette. His main hobby outside of the martial arts is target shooting.

The theme for this year's June
Museum Ceremony is "Martial Arts in the Media,"
and the Museum will be honoring our key pioneers of
this industry. The Museum is very pleased to announce that
Jean Claude Van Dame has committed to attending the Museum
Ceremony and being honored as one of our ICONS
in the film industry. (Note: Always keep this mind. It is
always possible that those in the film industry
are called off to film in a moments notice. JCVD has
committed to this event, however, there is a
possibility he may be called in immediately to do a film and
will be unable to attend the ceremony). The
Museum is also pleased that Jean Claude Van Dame will be
providing a number of costumes he wore in a variety of
films at the Museum Exhibit.
