Thailand's Angelo Dundee - Sutjai Supalek
No, I’ve always had a passion for sports which is how I got involved in
boxing. Football, running, swimming, boxing, Muay Thai, it doesn’t
matter," said Supalek. "I just love sports!" by Scott Mallon
Sutjai Supalek’s been around boxing all his life. Seventy-five
years young, he’s still doing what he loves most, training fighters.
Most of Thailand’s great boxers have been trained by Supalek at one
point or another and the list is as impressive as it is long. Sot
Chitlada, Samart Payakarun, Muangchai Kittikasem, Chartchai Chionoi,
Pichit Sitbangprachan, Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh, Chatchai Sasakul, Daorung
Chutvatana and Wandee Singwancha are just a few of the many fighters
Supalek has guided to titles. He is the “Angelo Dundee of Thailand”
– no-nonsense, no frills, direct and to the point and his results
speak for themselves. He is a proud and quiet man who rarely speaks
unless you’re talking boxing.

Waterfall
By: Carrie Fowle
Waterfall oh, what a dream,
I am resting by the stream.
This landscape is so new,
i am taking off my clunky shoe.
Waterfall oh, what a dream,
I am now barefooted by a stream.
I'll stick my toes into the river,
Though the water makes me shiver.
Waterfall oh, what a dream,
Toes submerged in the stream.
I'll climb up your big, gray rock,
While i am not wearing my white lace smock.
Waterfall oh, what a dream,
It is time to leave your lovely stream.

Subject: 3 Time Judo International Champion
Dear Michele:
I have a friend in Bulgaria who used to be the National Swim Team Coach (male). A friend of his has a daughter who is very petite, pretty, and
theatrical. She has won the International Judo Competition for female
juniors for three consecutive years. She is fourteen. She has been trained
by her mother who was also a 3-time judo champion. This girl asked me to inquire about opportunities for her in the U.S. She speaks English very
well. She would love to relocate here with her mother if she could earn some money here. Do you have any tips or advice about breaking into the
scene here? Am I being realistic? Thank you.
