A
different kind of hero: Local 'hero' wants to stamp out juvenile ...
Will Fountain
Eleven-year-old Will Fountain has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, but he doesn't let it stop him from being active.
Since being diagnosed, Will qualified for the national tae
kwon do championships in two events, form and point sparring, at his
first AAU competition.
Will Fountain is only 11 years old and already he's a hero.

Jingle Bell Run fundraiser in Baker Park in Frederick. Will has juvenile
rheumatoid arthritis and was asked to be the "hero" for this
event. "We try to have a hero for all our events," said Bonnie
Hayman, executive director of the Western Maryland Branch of the Arthritis
Foundation in Frederick. "It just puts a face to the arthritis
mission and to the problems that can arise with arthritis. It makes it
more personal."...
