Kicking
and spinning
Arkansas Democrat Gazette, AR
After completing their warm-up, the students, led by several
of the older members of the group, form a loose roda, or circle. Spectators
in the roda clap out a rhythm — Clap... clap-clap-clap-clap...
clap-clap-clap-clap — while others pair up for jogos, or games, and take
turns sparring inside the circle. With the nimbleness that comes with youth,
they perform variations of the au, or cartwheel; the chibata, or spinning
heel kick; the armada, or spinning outside crescent kick; handspins and
other moves...

My Most Embarrassing moment

Everyone has them. Some are worse than others. Some made
you scared to show your face in public ever again, but you survived,
didn’t you? Now share them with the world, because no one can see your
face this time. You can tell us how it happened or how
you got over it, but please…do not spare the juicy, embarrassing details,
so spill the beans.

Tell us your funniest jokes … Kids all over the world will
laugh at your jokes.

Blogg : The perfect body...by The Iron Guru
part one - Vince
Gironda - The Iron Guru
When I was heavily into martial arts...(pre-injuries) I was into
body building too. Not a giant body but a "perfect body"
for my age and weight. I had started weight training with my football coach
(at age 16), so I had built a prefect muscle foundation for my age to start
with. So if I ever
wanted to continue with other sports or weight train later in my life it would be easy to grow naturally
to the next level.
So, later in my life I decided I wanted to get my black belt
in Tae Kwon Do & Hapkido. But, I began weight training at the same time. The perfect body and a black
belt! Wow...! And since I was in shape, it would help me to get my
second degree black belt. I trained hard in martial arts ( until my injuries got the
best of me), for about 8 years. I was lucky to find and study privately
under Grand Master Jun Chong.
Then in my search for a weight trainer, the most amazing thing
happened to me. I was lucky enough to meet the greatest trainer that
ever lived...The Iron Guru - Vince
Gironda!
Well this...is Vince Gironda.
