The 4th Maine
International Karate Championships
The 4th Maine International Karate Championships took place on Sunday July 31, 2005 here in Southern Maine. The event featured some of the top KRANE and NASKA Competitors in the New England Region. About 300 competitors were in
attendance. A few of the many teams represented at this event included GKS Team, Don Rodrigues Karate Team, Mohegan Sun National Karate Team, Team Straight Up,
Ippone, Huard's Sport Karate Team and World Class Kenpo Karate Team.
The competition was fierce and everyone kicked it up a notch.

Mohegan Sun National Karate Team, Straight up, Ippon Team, HSK Team, World
Class Kenpo Karate Team.

karate classes are offered, which, according to instructors, parents and
students, offer a countless number of advantages. The class, Shito-Ryu
Karate-Do Genbu-Kai, which is one of four styles of karate, is a 10-week
session and is offered Monday and Wednesday for children ages 6-14 from
4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and for ages 14 and up from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A Letter from the Editor
The creator (that's me) of
The Karate Angels met with famous Hollywood producers and there may
be a
television show in the making! There was an opportunity for me to attend the two day Fade-In
Pitch Festival. here in Hollywood. That's where for a fee, you can meet with Hollywood
producers and agents and you're given exactly 7 minutes to "Pitch" your
project to them. Normally you'll need an agent to meet these very influential
Hollywood big shots. If they like your idea for a movie, book or
television show they take it to the next level. So I did, and they
liked The Karate Angels as a live action television
series!!!
So we are in discussions about all that. We're hoping for the best, and
we'll let you know first hand exclusively when we make a deal with them.
This is all I can tell you about it for now. Stay Tuned...
