William Leger Jr.

 

William Leger Jr. is a 12 year old Black Belt that goes by the nickname of Billy. 

Billy began training in martial arts at the age of 5 at Nick Cerio's Kenpo Karate in Framingham, Ma. under Master Instructor Hanshi Craig Seavey. Billy has always been passionate about traditional karate. He began competing in 2002 as a Brown Belt and has been hooked ever since. Billy advanced to Black Belt ranking in June of 2002 and now competes in the 12-13 year old division; he trains with his tournament coach Sensei Stephen Dwyer.

In 2003 Billy became a KRANE member and finished the 2003 season as State Champion in Traditional Forms, Open Forms and Weapons. He was also a the KRANE Nationals Silver medalist in Traditional Forms, Open Forms & Weapons 

This year 2004 he has also become a member of NASKA and is working hard on raising his level of competition with hopes of becoming a national champion someday.

His other interests are Tennis, Swimming, Boating, Jet Skiing with his family, and hanging out with his friends.
