Zoe Churchill

 Zoe Churchill is 8 years old, her style is Kenshukai. When she started at her first Karate club just over a year ago, she just took to it as if it was perfectly normal for her to position herself into some of the very painful stances. She became very crisp and learned fast. Within 3 months, she was the talk of the club and at her grading for yellow, she was told that the Sensei was glad to finally meet the little girl that everyone was talking about.

Since then, we have changed clubs but maintained the same style so that she can gain better quality training. She has already set herself a goal to gain her green belt by double grading and later to become a Sensei herself. Although only a yellow belt, she is competent at Kata 1, Kata2, Saifa and already knows over half of the Bassai Dai.

When we told her that we could take her to 4 training sessions a week with a senior Sensei, she didn't even flinch and was more excited at the prospect than thinking of how tiring it would be. At home she trains daily and never stops asking when her next lesson will be.
